Sophia was a surrendered to a high kill shelter in KY after her owner decided to stop breeding. Sophia and Rusty came into Buffalo Pugs together.

Sophia is extremely underweight and needs to gain about 5 lbs. She has been with ehr foster mom a couple weeks now and is improving. and a bit nervous at this time! She has no idea what has been happening however she has been learning what a real family is all about. She gets excited to see a friendly face she knows and will come up to greet them with tail wagging! She just is unsure as far as allowing you to pick her up, she will scoot away. Sophia has been doing great with her potty manners being her foster mom has been taking her out often however now we think she may have been trained before being she has not had any accidents in 2 weeks. She is a very sweet loving girl who needs a family that will have patience and love. She also was extremely matted and only has had a slight grooming however will need to see a professional once she is a bit more settled in.
