Daisy is a beautiful Jack Russell Terrier/Pug Mix who is just about 13 months old. Daisy was originally surrendered to our rescue because she had a very large growth on her leg and her owners didn't have the means to treat it.
Our vets have removed and biopsied the growth. As it turned out, Daisy had a very large histocytoma- which is a benign growth common in young dogs. That has now healed completely leaving behind a little scarring- but it's fairly unnoticeable. Daisy is now searching for her forever home.
Daisy is a sweet girl but she can be a little bashful when first meeting people. After a few minutes spent with Daisy, she really start coming around and is an absolute sweetheart. Daisy loves to play and is quite busy! She is a young dog- and also part Jack Russell, so she has quite a bit of energy. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would do best with another dog who is as playful as she is. She loves toys and will happily pull the last ounce of stuffing out of a plush toy if given the opportunity. Daisy is crate trained and mostly housebroken. She loves to snuggle and give kisses too!
We'd love for Daisy to find a home with older children. She can be a bit rough when playing and means well, but is not suited for young children. Children 8+ would be best for this sweet girl.
