Peanut is a 5 year old "Peekapoo" that was surrendered to our rescue with Corduroy because his owner could no longer care for them.

If you spend just a little time with Peanut, you will fall for him. This sweet, laid back guy can be bashful at first, but with a little time and a pat of your lap, he will hop up and settle in for some snuggle time. Peanut is fantastic with other dogs and would do okay in a home with children 8 years of age or older. We are told he has lived in a home with cats before and had no objections to that. Peanut is mostly housebroken, but will need a little refining, walks well on a leash and is now waiting for a home of his own!

Though we are excepting applications for Peanut alone, special consideration will be given to families willing to adopt Peanut & Corduroy together.
