Eli has come such a long way since coming into rescue. He originally came from a breeder who dumped him at a high kill shelter once he was done with them.

Eli arrived in rescue a very terrified boy. He has never had a home, a family or a warm bed. He has lived his life in a cage, being given the bare minimum so he could continue producing puppies and filling his breeder's pockets. That is no life for any animal- let alone our sweet Eli. Over the past few months, Eli has made so many changes. He no longer flinches when we reach to pet him. He is still a little nervous at times, but once he gets to know and trust you, he is much more willing to accept some affection and love. Eli is trained to use puppy pads and is very gentle. He is looking for his perfect forever home where he will be treated like the wonderful little guy that he is! Eli finds comfort in other dogs and is usually found snuggling with one of his foster siblings. We think that another well behaved dog would be a great role model for our darling, Eli.
