Meet “Bug!” Little Bug was found as a stray in Kentucky and taken to an overcrowded shelter. We know Bug waited patiently for his human to come get him. Bug’s mama should have broken down the doors to get him out of there and back home. But, she didn’t… so we did!

Bug is a pleasant little dude with debonair good looks! He is mild mannered and likes to be held and pet. Bug has a healthy appetite and after the long drive to New York, he was offered a bowl full of kibble and he munched away happily and even shared with the others. He is quite the lap dog and we have yet to hear him bark! He is excellent with other dogs and seems to be okay with cats too! Bug would do fine with teenagers. He would probably really enjoy their company, but young children might be too much for him.

Bug has a great foster mom who is working hard to retrain him in terms of housebreaking and leash walking.Bug AKA "Bucky" loves to be outside and go for walks. He does great on a leash too! Bucky also is doing awesome with potty training, only a couple accidents since he has been in foster. He is a sweet guy that is coming out of his shell more and more every day. He has started to play with some bones and toys and loves to be held,Bucky would do great in almost any family home. He is a smart boy, so he should be ready to go home very soon!
