Beatrice is a small Beagle mix - well - once she loses some weight since swimsuit season is right around the corner! At her present weight of 19, we think her ideal weight should be about 12 pounds to fit her tiny frame.

Beatrice was an owner surrender to a high kill shelter in Kentucky. At 4 years old, we bet she has been in the same home since she was a puppy. What could have happened to her family that they had to give this sweetheart up? So sad. Bea was scheduled to be euthanised & we stepped up at the last minute to save her from that lonely, cold death.

Well, no matter. Beatrice arrived safe & sound and we are thrilled! She is a love toward humans although a little timid right now with her new doggy friends. Her whole body wags when you talk to her. She snuggles next to you. We have already started her on a healthy diet to lose some of those pounds. Bea's teeth look great, she is all vetted & ready to find her forever home to begin her 2nd chance at life. Please put your application in today she wont be around long!
