Update:Julie’s Foster Mom reports that Julie has really began coming out of her shell. The little scared dog that she once was is now becoming a thing of the past. Julie has started exploring the house and racing around freely. She is now sleeping in bed with her foster mom and for the first time she is finding companionship in people instead of just the other dogs! She still has some more learning to do, but we are happy to hear that she is making strides in the right direction!

Little Julie has been a mommy many times and has spent the better part of her life living in a pen. She is now in our rescue and her foster mom is working vigilantly to help Julie see the good in people!

Julie is a 10 year old poodle. She is just shy of 10 lbs and a gorgeous gal. Julie is very shy. This huge world is very new to her, so her foster mom takes baby steps with Julie. She is never mean, just frightened. When outside on a leash, Julie wraps her legs around her foster mom’s ankles and holds on for dear life. She has been making small improvements as the days go by but will need someone willing to continue showing Julie how good life can be. She is working on her potty training and due to limited teeth, will need to eat soft food. She is great with the other dogs and finds comfort in their companionship.
