This handsome pup is Oliver! At almost 13lbs and pretty much full grown, his debonair good looks were an instant hit among volunteers. Oliver is a toy aussie mix with beautiful blue merle markings, one sparkling blue eye and a gorgeous brown eye and no tail at all! Oliver began his journey in a high kill Kentucky shelter because his family had too many dogs. At just six months old, BP&SBR knew we had to give this unique little pup a second chance.

Oliver is a silly and fun-loving pup who enjoys playing with others. He is submissive towards other dogs and much of his playtime is spent belly up! He has made fast friends with his fur brother and would really enjoy a child’s companionship as well. When he gets excited, Oliver stands on his hind legs, spins around, and “dances” to the amusement of those watching.

Oliver is a great house-guest. We are not yet sure if he is housebroken, but he has only had one accident to date and always does his business when we take him out. Oliver is also learning his basic commands, and already knows to sit and sit pretty. Oliver’s forever home will need to continue his training and socialization, as he is just a pup and there is so much more for him to learn. He is now current on all his shots, tested negative for heartworm and is neutered. All this little pup needs is a forever home!
