Meet pretty little Daisy! Somehow this adorable gal ended up in an overcrowded shelter at risk of being euthanized and our rescue decided to step in and help this little lady out!
Daisy is said to be a mixture of a puggle and a shih tzu. We know it is a silly mix, but her underbite and medium length hair lead us to believe that this could be factual. Daisy is a friendly, spunky gal who has lots of energy and loves to play with other dogs. Daisy would do best in a home that has a fenced in yard so that she can get all the exercise that she needs. She is very affectionate and sweet as well. She will snuggle up in your arms for a nap once she is done playing. She likes toys, treats and well… pretty much everything!
We are not sure that her pictures do her justice, she really is absolutely adorable and she is very small! Daisy weighs about 11lbs and has long legs but a petite frame. She requires minimal grooming. Even though she is part shih tzu, all this gal needs is a bath and a quick brushing and she is on her way. She walks well on a leash, rides well in a car and her foster family is working hard to further her house manners. She is being crate trained to prevent accidents when alone and is pretty quiet in the crate, though she may protest for the first minute!
We know Daisy is going to steal someone’s heart very soon, so please submit your adoption application today if you think she is the dog for you!
Daisy is being fostered in Rochester.
