Meet Nelly! She was born 11/8/2010 to what was said to be an accidental litter. She was the last puppy left in the litter and her owners then surrendered her to an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky. Soon after, she made her way North to Buffalo Pug & Small Breed Rescue to get her second chance! We are told that Nelly's mom was a chihuahua/pomeranian mix and her dad was a toy poodle, but can't say for sure. She has wirey hair and long legs with the cute poodle face. She will mature to be about 10 lbs. or so.
Nelly is a doll! She is very playful and loving to all humans and dogs. She is working very hard with her foster family understanding the potty training. Nelly loves to run and play outside even in this cold weather! Nelly sleeps in a crate and will go in it at quiet times throughout the day. She is adjusting nicely to the routine. Consistancy and training is key. Remember she is a puppy and will need a family that is ready to continue on with her training.
Nelly is such a sweet girl that would love to have a home of her own very soon! If you'd like to offer Nelly a forever home, please submit your adoption application today!
Nelly is being fostered in Rochester.
Nelly's adoption donation is $300.00
