Say HELLO to our sweet little Miss Lindy! Lindy was found running with who we believe to be her sister, Mindy in rural Ohio. They waited and waited at the shelter for their owners to come get them, but they never came and as the cages began to fill, it was time for these ladies to break free or face being euthanized due to lack of space!

We are happy to welcome these 2 girls into rescue- though we must tell you that their breed baffles us! The shelter believed they were affenpinscher mixes, but we can’t be certain. We speculate that they are possibly schipperke/Scottish terrier mixes but again, can’t be sure. Maybe they are part skunk? Their coloring would suggest it!  They are not stinky, don’t worry!

Lindy is a sweet, docile, affectionate little girl who is content to sit on your lap and just snuggle. She walks well on a leash, likes men, women, children and treats! She is often found looking out the window or following her human around. She is puppy pad trained now which should help with housebreaking as the pad moves closer and closer to the door and eventually outside. She does not bark much or play with the others. Though she is fine in a home with another dog, she would prefer that her canine housemate be about as laid back as she is. We will say that she is excited to see children, but since these girls do not have a known history, children 5+ would be best.
