Hello everybody! My name is Harley, but my foster mom calls me Handsome Harley, since I am so darn good looking! I came to Buffalo Pugs all the way from Kentucky as part of the “midnight run”. A group of my friends and I were in an overcrowded shelter and our time was running out, so some very nice people made a trip from Buffalo at midnight and drove all night and day to come and save us all before something horrible happened. We sure are grateful. My foster mom says I am such a good little boy, with nice manners and I listen very well. She also says I am pretty smart, as it does not take me long to learn something. Right now my foster mom is trying to teach me about the leash thing, I am really not sure what that is all about, it kind of scares me as I don’t think I have ever gone for a walk on one of those before! There is a fenced in yard where I live now so I take myself out but I’m trying to get used to the leash in case my new home does not have a yard like this. I am a pretty happy outgoing guy, I don’t bark too often only if I think I hear something at the door, or if I am playing with my foster brothers and sisters. I would do well in a home with other animals as well as by myself. I sure do like to snuggle with you while I sleep but I also like to be on the go with my toys and checking everything out during the day. I have not gotten into any trouble but I’ve been told I sure do like to investigate!! Guess I am just a curious guy. I do pretty well with my potty manners, as soon as I figured out I was supposed to go outside to do my business I have been giving my mom the notice by heading for the door when I have to go! During the night mom leaves a pad by the door and that works great too!! So if you are looking for an easy going, happy go lucky little guy to stay with you forever and complete your family, won’t you please put your application in for me today? I’ll be waiting for you…..
