Sugar is a 10 year old poodle. Sugar was surrendered to a high kill shelter in Kentucky after her owner passed away. Buffalo Pug & Small Breed Rescue decided to help this sweet senior girl out and she is now in rescue with us and doing great!

Sugar was not feeling so good when she arrived, so we took her to the vet. We know that Sugar has a heart murmur, common in small dogs her age and likely some vision and hearing loss. Fortunately, nothing stops this sweet girl. Sugar is housebroken, loves attention and seems to be such a happy little dog! She is great with older children and probably wouldn’t mind sharing her golden years with a feline friend. Sugar is great with Cuddles, who she lived with until going to the shelter but is not very tolerant of some of the youngsters and their jumping and playing. She would be fine with another older or calmer dog.

Cuddles walks nicely on a leash and is also housebroken. She knows to go poddy outside but if she can not get there, she also knows to use a puppy pad. She will make a great companion for someone and is sure to give tons of love to someone special.
