Bertuzzi was surrendered to Buffalo Pugs because his owner could no longer care for him or his sister, Sophia.

Bertuzzi is a handsome chubby pug. He is 21lbs and the sweetest guy you will ever meet. Bert loves to hang around the house with his foster parents. He likes to be pet and brushed and is such a good boy!! He is housebroken, walks pretty well with a harness and takes full advantage of the backyard. He is great with his foster fur-sisters and brothers and we think he'd be fine with cats as well! He doesn't really rough house or play with the others, but he stands close enough to the action to be the referee!

Bertuzzi doesn't bark very often, only when he is gazing out of the window and something amusing goes by. He loves to have is back scratched and he wiggles around happily!

Bertuzzi would do fine in a home with children. Small children might be a bit too much for this mellow dude to handle. Bertuzzi has some anxiety in the car, tub and in the crate but his foster parents have been working with him. He goes for short car rides often and spends time in his crate in small intervals and is assured that he is safe. He is rewarded at bathtime when he doesn't fuss. He is doing much better! He does not have to be crated, because he is very trustworthy in his foster home and he will just relax and hang out until his people are back, but we think its something dog's should be comfortable with in the event that a crate was ever needed.
