UPDATE: 04/13/11 Macho has come a long way in the few months I have had him. He loves to play with the other dogs in the house now. I also dog sit two little but territorial dogs for a friend a few days a week and he does fine. He still barks at strangers some times but as soon as he knows they won't hurt him, he is their new best friend. Give him a treat and he'll go home with you. I have three cats that pretty much stay to them selves.. Macho now knows to go to the door to go out. He loves to go hunting for moles or mice outside and amuses himself. He comes when called unless he’s on a hot deer trail then I have to tell him we’re going bye bye which he also loves. He is also great on a leash. He seems to be my new protector and gets on my lap as soon as any other dog wants to. He doesn't get nasty just sits there so they know i'm his. He loves to play with any kind of toy. Macho is not picky about his food and knows his bowl and waits to get his food. He would enjoy a home with another dog or as an only. He will go in a crate if need be but I haven't used one. He sleeps on the bed with the other dogs. If he can get under the covers he will stay there all night. I think he’s ready for his forever home. I know he will make someone a great pet. He is very easy to fall in love with he does the sweetest things. He loves to cuddle and is very good with children also.

Happy Holidays! My name is Macho. I find myself in a new foster home after my people moved and couldn't take me with them, but that's ok... I'm doing well here with a couple other dogs and kitties too! I play nicely with the dogs and the kitties tease me and I bark at them, but all in fun. I like to run around in the fenced in yard and play fetch. I have excellent manners and can sit and give you my paw. I'm still working on my potty training but am coming along fine. I do get a little nervous and bark sometimes at new people, but in a few minutes I'm relaxed and fine.
