Chewy ended up homeless when his owner just had too many dogs and was unable to care for all of them. Several rescues stepped in to help the 10 dogs to safety and 4 of them, including Chewy came to Buffalo Pugs in hopes of finding a real forever home.

Chewy is an awesome little dude. We think he bears a striking resemblance to Chewbacca, so there was no name more fitting that Chewy! Chewy is a little dog with a lot of personality. He is adventurous and outgoing and just loves to be near people! He is a confident boy who walks around proudly and is happy no matter the situation!

Chewy has a sweet side to him, he loves to be held and pet, and is just shy of 15lbs. He has a beautiful golden color to him and these silly teeth that sometimes poke out of his mouth. You might think its a face that only a mother could love, but our volunteers have proven that theory wrong! We just adore little Chewy and can't wait until he finds his forever home!

Chewy takes his treats nicely and likes rides in the car. He tends to be up on the door looking out the window as the world passes by! He is great with other dogs, but we are not sure about cats. We think he would do best with children 8+.

Chewy walks well on a leash and is quiet in his crate. He loves to go for walks and is sure to steal someone's heart very soon! Is that you?
