Meet the beautiful senior puggy lady, Bailee. Bailee is a 9 year old black pug that was surrendered to us because her owner did not understand her health needs.
Bailee is an insulin dependent diabetic. She does require a little extra care than most dogs, but her care is quite manageable. She needs a urine test before eating and an insulin shot after, twice a day. It may sound difficult, but Bailee makes everything so easy and doesn't cause a fuss at all! Her food & supplies run about $30 a month. Bailee is eating Science Diet, which can be purchased from your vet, with EVO kibble mixed in. Her insulin, needles and alcohol wipes can be purchased at Wal Mart or Wegmans.
She is a sweet little cuddler that loves to be on your lap or snuggle up on a cold afternoon. She will devote herself to loving you as she has already shown in her foster home. She does get along with other dogs, but doesn't really interact with them. She would love to be your only lap warmer! She does like to play with toys but her favorite thing is to be with her humans. She is a wonderful passenger and snoozes on her bed while you run errands, and is a very well behaved girl at the office as well. She does not have any accidents in the house and is a good girl when left alone while you are out. Her favorite things are definitely napping with you, watching tv with you and going for rides with you! Bailee does not like to share her food and can get a little snarky with other dogs if they get too close while she is eating.
