Cookie was one of 40 small dogs taken from the Mississippi puppy mill raid along with many Chihuahuas.

Poor cookie was found living in filth and in human conditions! Her body was laying in feces and urine for a very long time!! When she came to us we had to bath her over and over and even then the discoloration of her coat and skin did not come clean.

Cookie is 6 years old and has been so neglected that her teeth where completely rotted and full of gunk and hair!! Yes she actually had some sort of hair all in her gums, not belonging to her!!! She has been unable to eat for some time and is very underweight!! The pain had to be excruciating! We have had her dental done and she had to have oral surgery as well as a clean and polish the very few teeth she has left, for the next few weeks Cookie will have to eat very soft food and then softened dry food for life. The cost of her dental surgery was high and her adoption fee does not begin to cover the medical care Cookie needed if you can find it in your heart to donate even a little towards Cookies care please click on her donate button below!! With everything cookie has gone through and the neglect she received form humans, Cookie is the most loving out going little girl there is! She gets so excited when you walk in the door she just jumps up asking to be held!!! She loves everyone she meets and is good with cats and dogs as long as they are not all over her! Cookie loves to snuggle and would do nothing more then sit on your lap all day if you allowed her to!!! If you are looking for a sweet loving girl Cookie is the one for you!! Cookie has been groomed and her face has been cleaned up and trimmed, She has been through a lot today and so with in the next few days we will have new pictures added.
