Meet our little Nala! Somehow lovely Nala ended up in a high kill shelter. She had mange and was very skinny. The people at the shelter gave her food and medicine and soon, Nala was on her way to New York to finish her journey and find a forever home!

Nala is just a 4 month old puppy and a sweet one at that! She is a happy go lucky girl with a silly little docked tail. She still is on the skinny side, but her foster Mom is keeping her tummy full and she will be at a healthy weight soon. Right now she is about 12lbs and once full grown and at the appropriate weight, she will be around 20 pounds. We believe she is a fox terrier mix or a Jack Russell Terrier Mix. We are not sure of the other half, but whatever it may be, it makes for one adorable puppy! Nala is very sweet, she loves people and is great with other dogs. She is working on her potty training but her forever family will need to continue showing her the way. She goes for lots of walks with her foster mom and does her business outside after a few minutes. She is a sweet girl that gives lots of kisses and her silly little docked tail wiggles all the time!. Nala would be great with any family. She would do fine with children and because of her size, she is not one to topple little ones over. She is very, very affectionate and after playtime, she will snuggle up in someones lap for a little puppy nap! Like any puppy, Nala will need a family willing to continue with her training.
