Meet Coach! Coach is an 8 year old Boston Terrier. Coach was removed from a puppy mill situation and ended up in an overcrowded Ohio Shelter. After 6 months at the shelter, Buffalo Pugs decided it was high time for Coach to find his loving, forever home! Little Coach didnt receive normal vet care for most of his life and now has only 2 teeth left! His lips have become a little droopy and he sports a permanent pout. We think its charming! He is a quirky little guy who is looking for someone that he can devote all his love too!

Don't let his age fool you! He is very active, has quite a jump and loves to get on the floor and play with his human! He might just gum you to death! He is a typical boston! He snorts and snores and is very alert to what is going on at all times. Coach is quite the lovebug though! He is perfectly content laying between your feet, sitting in your lap or just snuggling on the couch. He just wants to be near you.

Coach doesn't let anything stop him. Even without all his teeth, he eats well. He can eat kibble alone but it seems easier for him to pick it up when it is mixed with soft food. He loves rawhides and piggy ears. Even though he doesn't make much progress with them, he enjoys going through the motions. Coach has very good manners. He walks well on the leash, and is quiet in his crate. He is very calm and well behaved with children and would do just fine in a home with children of any age. He likes car rides and is always eager to hop in as soon as the door opens. Coach is mostly housebroken. Since coming to his foster home, he has not had any accidents! Repetition and praise will help further reinforce this.

Coach only wants humans on his team! While at the shelter, coach had been bitten by another dog. Without teeth, he had no form of defense or protection. He tolerates the presence of his foster sister, but doesn't like her much or most other dogs for that matter. Although Coach would not be able to harm any other dogs, we are more concerned with another dog's response to him and the harm that could cause. Therefore, Coach will need to be the only dog in the home. Coach is such a special guy and needs a loving family that will give him the attention and affection that he yearns for!
