We recently received a call from one of the vets that we regularly work with about a beagle who needed a medical test that the owner did not want to do! So he decided to put him down instead! CRAZY!

So, we decided to help this beagle boy out. He was healthy and deserved to live... we could not have bared the thought of his being put down because he is an expense. So, we picked him up and found him to be one of the most lovable beagles we have ever met! He does not have any of the "behaviors" that other beagles have such as howling. He is very quiet and laid back and mellow! The perfect companion for anyone. He is underweight because of a disease that is commonly found in dogs called EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency, which is the equivalent of lactose intolerance in humans as far as a lack of enzyme goes. This will require mild food and medication about 90.00 every 5 months. Cody is a wonderful dog and if you are interested in him, please be sure to apply because he is such a love that it is certain that he will not be around for long!
