Say Hi to Heidi! Heidi came to us because her person's schedule got too busy to spend enough time with her. She's a very sweet, friendly dog who just loves to be around people all the time and we are so happy we can help her find the right family!

Heidi is housebroken and crate trained. She is initially a bit shy when she meets someone new and seems eager to get to know you, but stays a bit cautious. Heidi follows her foster mom all around the house, wagging her curly tail, and is happy just being with people. She knows some basic commands and absolutely LOVES to go for walks! She gets along with the other dogs in her foster home and when she is in her foster mom's fenced-in back yard she runs like the wind! Because Heidi is part beagle, we believe she should always be on a leash or tie-out if she is not in a securely fenced-in area. And due to Heidi's mild shyness, we also recommend she go to a home with children over 10 yrs. old.
