We're happy to introduce Hoss! He and 8 other lucky dogs have recently been sprung from Ohio puppymills and we are determined to bring them all the love and joy that they deserve and end the miserable existence they have known all their lives.

Hi, I was named Hoss and was the first to be named after the Cartwright brothers. The name really seemed to fit me. This is of course if you are old enough to remember the TV show. I am one of the not so lucky guys. I had to have 16 rotted teeth removed and I am petrified of everyone I meet. I hide and cower, but even as scared as I am I still try and peek out from hiding. I'm getting a little more comfortable in my foster home and will even walk near my foster mom, as long as she doesn't move. Right now I do not know who I am or how I will become. I will need time and patience! I am hoping to find someone willing to give me all the love they can and help me learn how sweet life can be, and that there is more to life than a cage and scary people. Could that be you?
