Hi, my name is Little Joe! Me and 8 other lucky Buffalo Pug rescues have been imprisoned in puppy mills across Ohio for all our lives. We're so happy that Buffalo Pug and Small Breed Rescue came and bailed us out! Some of us needed medical attention and some are a bit scared and don't know what to make of our new lives. We lived in cages our entire lives, but now that we are free we are finding out how wonderful being a doggie really can be.

I got my name, Little Joe, from the TV show Bonanza! I am one of the pugs that needed a little extra help from the vets. My teeth were so rotted, I was unable to eat without pain. I also have a urinary tract infection, but all this has been taken care of and I am now on medication and getting better every day. With the help of Buffalo Pugs they removed 10 painful teeth. I am now on my way to being pain free and will start to learn what life is really about. I am very good with other dogs and once I am feeling better can work on finding out who I really am. Right now I am confused and am unsure what has happened to me, but I do know I am already much happier. Can I come home with you? I am being fostered in Buffalo.
