Hola New Yorkers, me llamo is Luna! Sorry for the spanish, but I'm just getting used to english. My sister, Wendy, and I were recently flown here from our native home of Puerto Rico. We are part of the program called "Save a Sato" and are thrilled to be in a home and not scrounging through trash on the streets and fighting day and night to stay alive. It was a horribly hard life and even though we are only in a temporary foster home, it sure is great to have a warm, dry bed to sleep in and two good, healthy meals a day. Dogs here sure have a great life!! Would you be willing to give us a permanent home so we never have to worry again? My sister and I would love to stay together, but if that's not possible, it would be nice for us to have other canine companions because that is what we are used to. We promise to try very hard to make you proud and happy. We're really good girls and just need a chance to prove it!
Luna and Wendy are both very sweet girls with lots of love and energy to share. They are very bonded, so it would be great to keep them together, but we know that might not be possible. If they can't be adopted together, it would be best for them to have at least one other canine companion. They are very active, energetic girls and should be in an active home where they will get the exercise and activity level they need. We were thrilled to be able to help the Save A Sato folks to get these girls out of harms way and into loving, forever homes.
