This adorable, sweet, black puggy girl is Pepper. She was transferred to us by a wonderful rescuer who did not have the resources to help her with her medical needs. This sweet girl had some of the worst breathing issues we have ever seen, and she required laser surgery to shorten her palate as well as surgery to open her nostrils. We were happy to be able to take her in and help her get the surgeries she needed to live a long, happy life.

Pepper has now had her surgeries and is recovering well. She still has some follow-up appointments, but is well on her way to breathing easy and living normally. We are very pleased with her progress and are now ready to consider applications for her adoption. Pepper is as sweet as can be and gets along with everyone. She is a typical pug queen and wants to be with her people wherever they are. She is house trained and very well behaved in her foster home. We know this sweetheart won't be with us long, so if you would like to be considered for her adoption, don't delay, apply right away! Pepper is being fostered in Rochester.
