Frankie has been very patiently waiting for his 3rd chance at a forever home. Frankie came into our rescue a few years ago from a kill shelter. He was adopted and spent a few happy years in his home. Unfortunately, his mom fell ill and when she became very sick, she called and asked us to take Frankie back and find him the home he deserves.

Frankie has been loved tremendously since being rescued from the shelter and is a very loved member of his foster family. He's the total package. He's a super snuggle bug! He gets along great with the cranky old lady basset hound and the young, active Labrador retriever in his foster home. He also respects “Jake,” the cat. Frankie is housebroken and crate trained. He is very trustworthy in his foster home, so he's been allowed quite a bit of freedom overnight and when alone briefly during the day. Frankie is moderately active. He enjoys racing around the backyard when it's time to play but settles in nicely for quiet time. He tends to only bark when someone is at the door and settled quickly afterward. He is one chubby little pug mix with very soft fur. He does shed, but it's much less than a pure pug tends to. He is a chubby little fellow and his foster mom is limiting his treats and adjusting his meals a bit to help him shed a few pounds. Frankie does well with the visiting children in his foster home. We feel he'd do best with children 8+ years old. He is one joyful, sweet little guy and we know there is a great home for him out there somewhere!
