We are pleased to introduce little Miss Mya! This poor little 8 month old girl found a wonderful home after being rescued, but her owner couldn't afford all the testing and medications to get Mya the help she needed for her skin conditions.

We are working hard with our vets to try to eliminate all possible allergens and get Mya's skin healed and itch-free. She is doing better day by day, but it may be an ongoing issue that will require diligence, special diet and patience on the part of her new family. Mya has been good with the other dogs in her foster home and has very good house manners. She is still a puppy and loves to play, but is tormented by the itching so spends much of her time with a cone on her neck to prevent her from scratching. We expect Mya to make a full recovery with time and are screening applications for her adoption in anticipation of that. As soon as we get her skin conditions under control, we will be getting her spayed and updated on everything she needs.
