This sweetie is Angelina. She was transferred to us by a shelter with pretty severe "shelter shock". Tiny little ones like this typically do not do well in shelter settings so we are fostering her and helping her find her forever home.
Angelina is doing very well with her housetraining, she travels well, likes to play with toys and is very loving with females. Shy initially, she will warm up to female strangers given time. Angelina does not like to be crated and will bark in that loud chihuahua bark until she gets tired or is let out (whichever comes first). Angelina is a lap dog through and through, craving attention and sleeps in a curled up ball next to you. Apparently, Angelina was surrendered because her owners were moving, but she has broken cartilage on her right ear (making her ear flop over), which with her fear of men makes us suspicious of abuse. Due to her anxiety level with men, we would prefer to place her in a female home. If you are interested in adopting this sweet little lap warmer, apply for her today! If you would like more information, you can email her foster mom at firstname.lastname@example.org.
