Poor Keisha is another breeding female that was used up and discarded by the puppy mill industry. This sweet girl has obviously produced litter after litter of babies, with little or no care given to her. She is one of the lucky ones in that we got her before she got deathly sick. She had pyometra and the infection was very very bad, but now that she is spayed and on antibiotics, she will be ok.

It is obvious that she spent very little time out of a crate, and we are working on her housetraining. She has a very sweet, loving disposition and is great with other dogs and kids of all ages. She loves to snuggle and is enjoying getting attention and human interaction. Unfortunately, we can't stop the puppy mills from doing this to these poor sweet girls, but we can make sure that the rest of her life is warm, safe and full of love.
