Yes, we know that Otis is NOT a small breed dog, but the shelter really needed to move him or lose him, so we agreed to help out in placing this sweet, handsome purebred German Wirehaired Pointer boy.

Otis will need a home with active people, a fenced yard and a family willing to do obedience training with him. He is very sweet-natured and doesn't have a mean bone in his body, but he is very exuberant and doesn't know his manners yet. He is, however, completely housetrained, loves dogs and cats and would probably like active older children around to play with. We are told he is a very typical adolescent German Wirehaired Pointer, and that requires someone with breed knowledge and a willingness to help him learn to be a good canine citizen. We are sure that he is going to be a wonderful family member for the right people because he is very loveable and wants so much to please. The fenced yard is an absolute MUST, without exception.
