We are saddened to learn that Chico (nka Tiki) passed away on Christmas Eve, 2009. He succumbed to cancer, but was with his beloved family and for that we are grateful. RIP Tiki.

Chico and Nina were both surrendered to rescue due to an ill owner. They have been together for much of their lives and we would like to see them adopted together. If we can not find someone to adopt both, we will consider adopting singularly, so please don't hesitate to apply! Chico is a bit more protective of a dog than Nina... he barks at strangers that come to the house and likes to maintain a solid relationship with his owner. He is more of an alpha dog that will want to be in charge in a home with other dogs. He is extremely cute and considered a teacup or deerhead variety of chihuahua!
