We see alot of things in rescue... some of them worse then others. We have seen people give up their dogs for strange reasons and some abused dogs come through with terrible histories... but, the one thing that hurts us more than alot of the others is when a pet is left abandoned by an owner who has passed away... we think the reason for this is because we know that the dog probably had a great life and is now left to fate's plan for his or her future. We love to place these kinds of dogs because we know we will be thorough in screening a home and getting a comfort level with the new adopters. When these dogs end up in dog shelters is really what we hate to see... if you own a dog, please be sure to include them in your will so that they will be properly dealt with upon your departure from this world... I think this is very important for dog owners young and old, because you just never know! Dora is a gorgeous purebred JRT.. she is loving and playful, pottytrained and fairly well behaved. She would be a joy to anyone wanting a Jack Russell as an addition to their new family.
