Maverick is quite the cute little beagle boy! They say he is 2 yrs old, but he still acts somewhat puppyish... he loves playing and being with kids and other dogs. He is an all around lover and has a great time with his daily walks. Maverick doesn't seem to be the typical beagle in that he really doesn't wander or "follow his nose". He appears very content to just be with his people and keep a close eye on them. He doesn't howl or bark and has very good house manners. He doesn't mind his crate at all and sleeps in it willingly. He still has a little trouble with loud noises, raised voices and quick movements in his direction, but we think that will fade as he gains trust and security. He has already become much more sociable in his foster home.
