Update 8/2/05: It is with sadness that we must report that Candy passed away this week... she had a swollen spleen and her kidneys failed. Candy was a sweetie that will be missed by her family and everyone who ever met her.
Original Posting: Meet Candy - yes, she is a sweet as her name sounds! This little darling ended up in a shelter when her family of 9 years "moved". She has been in her foster home for a week now and could not be a better guest. She is housebroken and gets along well with all the other animals. Candy acts much younger than her 10.5 years; she does not walk - she runs everywhere - just adorable. Playing footsie is a favorite game and she loves to be cuddled. We are working on getting her weight down to an appropriate level (right now she is 20 lbs) - she does love to eat! She also loves cars rides, belly rubs and greets every stranger as if they are her new best friends. if you would consider a dog that is just a little older but has supreme house manners and a personality to boot, then Candy is your girl!
