Poor Casey! She and her purebred poodle mate, Sam (intake pending) had a litter of 4 babies in a tiny hollow. Her owner told us that 6 dogs was "just too many" and booted mom and dad because "they have fleas and the babies don't." These poodles have been housepets so they were frightened by foster care. They prefer to sit on the couch and sleep in bed with people. Casey is very loving and quite the lap dog. She needs to go to a home that will lavish her with the same love and gentleness that she gives. She is a very dainty dog. Fence not necessary because she should be an inside dog. She is accustomed to being carried everywhere so we're having a little trouble taking her outside to pee on a leash. We've compromised by carrying her outside and then putting her down on lead.. poor baby. She is slightly overweight (at 11 lbs) so we've started her on special poodle food.
Casey has been ADOPTED!
