Peek-A-Boo is a special case from a puppymill that the court ordered her out of. She has not had such a great life and it has been so amusing to observe the development of personality in her during foster the last few months. At first Peek-a-Boo just sat in her crate. Not upset. Not bored, just never knowing anything different. As she began to discover life, she has kept us laughing. She tries everything. Follows people around like a little duckling follows the mama duck. Always smiling with that smooshed face. Likes to look at herself in the mirror (as seen in the picture above). The kids adore her because she lets them carry her everywhere. For having endured the most dreadful existence, she has developed the sweetest, most tranquil demeanor. She enjoys human interaction, all kinds of humans. She is pretty much housetrained and is 100% crate trained. Never yelps or barks or behaves unseemly. Ever see the movie "Halloween Town?" The grandma had a pet handbag that followed her around. That is Peek-a-Boo. She does not, however, seem to have any interest in playing games of rough and tumble type stuff, running etc. She could perhaps be a disappointment if someone wanted an active playful dog as opposed to a gorgeous lap lounger.
