My name is Willie and I am truly a distinguished gentlemen among the purebred Dachshund community! I am what is called 'double dappled' and it truly puts me into a different league of my breed. Please do not think that I look old and greyed because that is not the case, and you would have to see me in person to truly appreciate my unique look. In addition to the swirls of color on my smooth coat, my eyes are double dappled as well, making them intense blue in color! My foster had the most difficult time getting good pictures of me, which I find hysterical! I am a sweet natured young boy and my only downfall, at least in the eyes of my previous owner, is that I like to chase cats as a hobby. With a sensitive hound nose like mine, who can help but follow it to the neighborhood cats when I so enjoy their expression as I find them and run after them! Its all in fun... really! Oh yeah... I almost forget to tell you that I am allergic to fleas and need to be on Advantage or Frontline consistently. Most people don't mind that because they don't like the fleas either!
