Update 9/25/04: Hunter is doing great!! He has no more accidents and goes potty outside. He and the foster's kids are hooked to the hip. LOL. He is doing great with other dogs in the house, the kids, and even the cats. I found them laying on the bed together. He doesn't even growl at strangers!!! Hunter was a hard one, but with all the love and time his foster has given him, he has made a complete 360. Hunter is great and a fast learner. He sits with the foster family, sleeps with the foster family, and loves to run and play. GO HUNTER!!!

Original Post: At 2 and a half years old, Hunter is a very loyal and loving dog once he gets to know a person. Initially he is timid and this is probably because someone abused him in his past. Hunter is a 1 person or 1 couple dog. He does not like children at all (again, he was probably abused and it was most likely by kids) and will not be placed in a home with kids. He does not care for cats either, but he can get along with dogs as long as there are not several of them around him, otherwise, he gets nervous. Hunter was never properly potty trained, so the foster mom is currently working that out with him and he is doing better with it every day. For the right person or couple, Hunter will be the most loyal and loving and affectionate dog you have ever known! If you feel you have what Hunter needs, please apply today!
