UPDATE 8/23/07! PLEASE HELP US HELP DUKE!!
Duke has been limping and showing signs of pain in his rear leg, so we took him in for x-rays and the results are devastating!! Duke had a broken femur at some time when he was very young and it healed badly and is now causing him severe pain and discomfort. Our vet is consulting with an orthopedic specialist and Duke is going to need surgery. We are praying that they can save his leg, but that might not be possible. We are urgently trying to raise the money to get his surgery done.

This handsome boy is Duke (fka Jaggar). Duke was adopted from us about 3 years ago and his adopters have given him a lot of love, care and training in that time. Sadly, he has come back to us to be rehomed by no fault of his own, because his family situation has changed and there is no longer anyone at home to give him the care and attention he so deserves.

Duke is a great dog! He is house trained and very well behaved. He loves everyone and is good with children and other dogs.
