Ellie Mae is a 6 year old pure bred Shihtzu who was recently release from breeding.  Since she's been in her foster home, her tail has not stopped wagging.  She has started playing with toys and is amazed by the space in the backyard and can't stop running and checking it out.  She is a very quiet girl, does not mind being in her crate and sleeps in there overnight, although she would do just as fine in a big bed.  Her foster sisters are still trying to figure her out,, but she has no issues with them and is just starting to get curious about what they are doing. We are working on her housebreaking and she is doing great, not an accident in the home yet and she may be peepad trained.  She has mastered the stairs on the deck and is slowly settling in.  She will be ready for adoption at the beginning of October.  If you are interested in meeting her, fill out an application today!
