Butterscotch is a 4 1/2 year old mini poodle that weighs 11-12lbs.

PLEASE READ: She is in need of a special home due to her fear of men. Due to her past- she will need a female only home or one with a man who will work with her fear. He would be the main feeder, toy player, and praise giver for the first few months at least. She can NOT be grabbed when she is turned away from you- it scares her and she may nip. Although she has been out of the mill for awhile- her memories have not left her . She has overcome her fear of foster Dad within a week- but will still bark at him once in a while.
Kids over 10 who understand her needs and the do's and don'ts with her until she totally decompressed are fine.

She is potty trained and walks on a leash- but some more leash training will be needed. As well as working on her barking with a water bottle etc.

She will sleep in her crate as long as you cover it half way w a blanket and leave TV or music playing for her.
She gets along with dogs of all sizes, but also wants to play with cats in her foster home. So to be safe- either no cats in home or a dog savvy one.

She can be a only dog or with another dog who would like to race around the yard with her.

She will require regular visits to a groomer so her curls don't turn into knots. Nightly brushing in between grooms will help as well and she loves it.

She is a barker so apartment  or Condo living is not for this gal!

She wants to be your shadow , and will follow you from room to room and snuggle up close to you on your favorite couch or chair. She will need a home with someone home most of the time as she does have seperation anxiety when Jer people leave the house- so when doing errands she gets put in her crate while no one is home. She loves all dogs she has met so far- little and big.
