Coco is about 4 years old. She was abandoned by a breeder and then came to us.
Unexpectedly, Coco tested positive for heart worms. :(
Coco also has a mammary tumor & a cyst on her eyelid which needs to be removed.
We also will provide her with standard care- her spay and vaccinations.
We need help to treat Coco! Over the last several months, we've assisted several dogs with various health issues from mange to a broken pelvis to parvo-virus and we've never given up. We always do everything we can for our babies to give them the best lives possible. But in doing so, the vet bills have built up quickly.
Coco's heart worm treatment will cost between $400-$500. Her medication (which is at a nationwide shortage) is being shipped in from Europe and is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday the 17th. Because she's already showing some difficulty breathing; even when resting, we need to move forward with her treatment as quickly as possible. Once the heartworms are gone, we can then tend to her other medical needs, but not until then.
