Sidney came to us all the way from Aruba! He is most likely a Cunucu, roughly translated as "countryside" dog. They vary somewhat in appearance but generally look like Sidney here. He is 4 months old and around 16 lbs. Full grown male Cunucu's usually top out between 25-30 lbs. There is some dispute as to whether it's accurate to refer to Cunucu's as a breed, some sites list them while others say they are simply Aruban "mutts". It doesn't matter what you want to call him because either way he is a fantastic dog. Sidney was recently neutered and gets along with other dogs. He is still a puppy so he can be in your face and energetic during playtime. He is a street smart dog which means sometimes TOO smart for his own good. Baby gates, chain link fence gates etc. WILL be figured out in time so a watchful eye is a must. He is extremely affectionate with everyone he comes in contact with and enjoys lap sitting and especially hugs. Hugs are his forte accompanied by kisses and love nibbles. Sidney has made a long journey to Western New York in search of his forever home and can't wait to meet you!
