This girls name is Sweetie! Simply because once she feels comfortable with you she is a real SweetHeart! She is a one year old Beagle Daschund mix who has spent her entire life in a hoarding situation. She came into rescue terrified and confused. She thinks her only way to get through scary situations is to growl and bark in hopes to make herself appear larger. This girl weighs in at 11 pounds and counting! Do to her fear based aggression and needing time to warm up to new situations and people, a dog savy home is required with no children under the age of 10 please. Sweetie is in a foster home with four other dogs and two cats with no issues. She will bark and chase the resident cat- but once confronted face to face she backs away slowly and carries on with her day. She is young so she does have puppy energy, again once she warms up, so be prepared for that if you are thinking of adopting her. She is crate trained ( but prefers to snuggle under the covers with her humans)and almost housebroken, but expect accidents please. Please research the Dachshund breed before placing an application
