This handsome boy is Jake, a 5 year old brindle and white Boston Terrier.  Jake came to us because his owner no longer could keep him. He has a history of being in an abusive situation.  Jake is sweet, cuddly and intelligent, with perfect house manners.  Because of his past, though, he is wary of strangers and sudden movement and afraid of loud noises and chaotic situations.  He enjoys sleeping on the big bed with all his foster siblings, and loves, loves to have his stomache rubbed.  Jake would prefer to be an alpha, and enjoys other dogs if they are submissive.  He responds well to verbal commands, but because of his background should never be shouted or screamed at.  Jake is looking for a loving situation with adults who will understand his sensitivities.
