Bentley is a beautiful 6 year old male Maltese. He bonds quickly with his humans but can be dog selective, so an only dog home would suit him best.  If he would be residing with a feline sibling, a "dog savy" cat is a must !  He does like to chase his foster feline siblings but then cn=an be found snuggling with them during the night. 

He is affectionately known as "cat/dog" in his foster home as his favorite place to lounge during the day is on the back of the couch.  He will need a home where he can sleep with his humans , Bentley is scrared of his crate and will cry and howl.  He is house trained  and will bark to let you know he has to go outside, he also knows some basic commands.  He loves older kids (8 and older) , takes treats very gently and walks beautifly on a leash.

Bentley needs a human to bond with, someone who will be home the majority of the time or has the ability to take him with them as a work companion. If Bentley sounds like  a match for you please apply to meet this wonderful guy !
