UPDATE: HOSPICE CARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

Hi everyone!  It's me Angus!  I am an 11 year old male bulldog.  I have so many people to thank for my rescue.  The shelter staff, fosters, drivers, vets and all the others who have shown me love along the way.  I have had a rough life as I lived outside on a chain for a while, neglected and lonely.  I have problems with my eyes the vet calls it Entropion.  It is very painful for me and due to my neglect, I have now lost most of my vision. I also have some pretty bad arthritis in my front elbows which makes it hard for me to walk.  These nice people here at Buffalo Pugs are going to try to fix me up best they can so I can enjoy the time I have left instead of being in constant pain. I will be available for adoption after my medical needs are met.  Due to my special needs I will require a home with no stairs as it's almost impossible for me to get up and down them and at a whopping 75 pounds. it's not pleasant to be picked up either. I am very social and friendly and am not bothered by other dogs or cats but I'm not a playful guy anymore and probably wouldn't like to live with a very active dog.  I am housebroken if you take me out regularly but it is hard for me to find you when I need to go so if you forget about me I may have an accident or two.  If you think you can offer me a warm home full of love please apply.  My foster mom will be checking out applications and picking the best possible retirement home for me.  Thank you everyone for all your kindness and patience and most of all love ~~ Angus (formerly known as Bud)
