Have you ever heard the phrase "In love with love"... well that's Stubby. He is in love with ever person he meets. We are still learning about Stubby but here are some things we have learned so far. He LOVES people of all ages. He still is working on some basic manners and learning jumping on people isn't an acceptable greeting. He was a hoarding dog so he's still learning the basics. He knows sit and no very well but it's a learning process on other commands. He is crate trained and will stay there quietly for extended periods of time. He needs a home without cats (these are one of the few things he doesn't love). He thinks their fun to chase and not many cats would appreciate that. When visiting one of our favorite vets in East Aurora he greeted them all with kisses, a vet tech considered adopting him but unfortunately for Stubby she has cats. He has been exposed to a husky and small poodle mix, pom, bug (which he may have wanted to love too much but she's a pretty gal and stubby just got neutered so...) and a boston with no aggression. Stubby takes treats very nicely and loves to chew on a strong bone or kong with some peanut butter in it. I have fostered many dogs and have never had one that wags his tail as much as this guy while eating or drinking. Stubby is a very quiet guy. He has hung out on the front porch and has seen many dogs and humans pass him by with almost no barking. Stubby also loves car rides and would make a great co-pilot (although sometimes he wants to stick his head out a window to the point  his foster momma gets nervous). He is such a sweet boy that will absolutely adore you. Applications for Stubby are welcome at any time.
